Overview
Go Send Am Ltd ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Go Send Am dispatch platform and website (gosendam.com). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies we use, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can control them.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle your personal data more broadly.
Our registered address is 100, Olokonla Road, Off Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lekki, Lagos.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device — computer, tablet, or phone — when you visit our website or log into our platform. They allow the platform to recognise your device across a session or between visits, and to remember information about your activity.
Cookies are not programmes and cannot carry viruses. They cannot access other files on your device. Similar technologies such as local storage and session storage work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy where relevant.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies. The full list of specific cookies, including provider names and durations, is in the Cookie Inventory in Section 3.
Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for the Go Send Am platform to function. They maintain your authenticated login session on the dashboard and verify wallet funding transactions. Without these cookies, you cannot log in or use the platform.
Security Cookies
These cookies support the security of your account and sensitive platform operations, including wallet transactions and account login. They help us detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised activity.
These cookies do not store or transmit your NIN or CAC number. Those identifiers are sent directly from your browser to the relevant government verification platform over an encrypted connection during onboarding and are never written to a cookie or stored by Go Send Am.
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how account holders and users interact with the platform — which features are used most, where errors occur, and how we can improve navigation and performance. Data collected is aggregated and is not used to identify or profile individual users for marketing purposes.
Functional Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make on the platform to improve your experience on return visits, such as your dashboard display preferences and active session state. They are not used for tracking or advertising.
3. Cookie Inventory

4. Third-Party Cookies
When you fund your wallet, our authorised payment processor partners may set their own cookies to facilitate and secure the transaction. These cookies are set and controlled by the payment processor, not by Go Send Am. We do not have access to the data stored in these cookies. We recommend reviewing the privacy and cookie policies of our payment processor partners.
We use Google Analytics as our analytics provider. Where you have consented to Analytics cookies, Google Analytics may set cookies on your device to collect aggregated usage information. Google Analytics operates under its own privacy and cookie policies, available at policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Where we integrate other third-party analytics or monitoring tools, those providers operate under their own cookie policies. All such cookies set by third parties will be listed in the Cookie Inventory table in Section 3.
Note on NIN and CAC verification: During onboarding, your NIN and CAC number are transmitted directly from your browser to the government verification platforms over an encrypted connection. This transmission does not involve any third-party advertising or analytics cookies, and Go Send Am does not intercept or store these identifiers at any point in this process.
5. Your Cookie Choices and Consent
Under the NDPA, your consent to non-essential cookies must be freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous. We obtain this consent through a cookie banner displayed when you first visit our website or platform.
- Accepting Cookies: Clicking "Accept All" on the cookie banner permits us to set Analytics and Functional cookies in addition to Strictly Necessary and Security cookies.
- Rejecting Non-Essential Cookies: Clicking "Reject Non-Essential" means only Strictly Necessary and Security cookies will be set. This will not affect your ability to log in, manage dispatches, or fund your wallet.
- Changing Your Preferences: You can update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer of our website. Your updated preferences take effect immediately.
- Withdrawing Consent: Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any cookie-based processing carried out before your withdrawal. Analytics and Functional cookies will be removed from your device on your next visit once consent is withdrawn.
6. Managing Cookies Through Your Browser
In addition to our cookie banner, you can control cookies directly through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View all cookies currently stored on your device and delete them individually or in bulk.
- Block all cookies, or block cookies from specific websites.
- Block third-party cookies while allowing first-party cookies.
- Set your browser to notify you when a cookie is being placed.
Note that disabling Strictly Necessary cookies through your browser will prevent you from accessing the Go Send Am platform.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add, change, or remove cookies, or when regulatory requirements change. When we do, we will update the version number and "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, such as the introduction of a new cookie category, we will notify registered account holders via their registered email address at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
